Design Supervision and Monitoring (DSM) of DUTP Infrastructure Components, Institutional Support and Training under Dhaka Transport Coordination Board, financed by World Bank
The Consultant’s responsibilities include: Document Review: Detailed review and finalization of bidding documents for DUTP infrastructure components and prepare designs and bidding documents for components identified and agreed to be implemented during this project. Survey & Investigation: Conducting all necessary surveys which include topographic, traffic, pavement condition, drainage, sub-soil conditions, utility services, socio-economic surveys etc. Bidding Documents: Preparation of plans, specifications, bill of quantities, pre-tender estimates and bidding documents of international standards. Assistance with Pre-qualification of Contractors. Assistance with Tenders and Evaluation. Contract Supervision: The main activities of the consultant during the construction phase will be - Provide road safety audits of road improvement proposals. Provide technical assistance for identification, acquisition and deployment of equipment for DCC, DMP and BRTA.
